Come with us to Canterbury Cathedral, one of England’s finest ancient churches. Or how about a visit to Hever Castle, once the residence of Anne Boleyn then on to nearby Chartwell, home to Winston Churchill. Kent is famous for its gardens, so let a Blue Badge Driver Guide show you Sissinghurst and Penshurst, a great idea for a summer day out.
Canterbury and Leeds Castle
Canterbury is an interesting town to explore with many medieval buildings and even a Roman museum. There is much more than just a Cathedral.
Leeds Castle was a Norman fortress before becoming a medieval palace for England’s queens. It was totally restored in the early 20thc and is still used today. The 500 acre park has gardens, a duckery, a maze, an endangered species aviary and many special events.
